Assemble, repair and upgrade personal computers and peripherals. 

Designed and constructed a Client/Server LAN Network using Windows 2000.

Install and configure CD-ROM, floppy and hard drives, RAM, Expansion cards and NIC cards.

Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer software and network, including MS-DOS, Windows 95/98, Windows 2000, Windows XP Professional and business software.

Tucker Technology, Oakland CA,  Contract Computer Network Technician, Sept 02 to Aug 05

Clients: Home Depot – Bay Area, Alameda County Building, Public Works – Hayward, Alameda County Building – Oakland, Oakland Information Technology (Oakland Fire Department), Clinton Park Oakland School, Hollywood Video (Reel.com).

Installed, configured, and troubleshooted software and hardware, including MS-DOS 6.02, Novell, Windows 9x, NT, 2K, XP, Barcode scanner, cash drawer, hard drives and network.

Mounted cabinets, installed Patch panel, cat 5 and 6 cabling for network, wall jacks and outlets, APC UPS and Cisco switches and routers.  Install wire throughout locations, punched down cables, surface mounted raceway, configured, and troubleshooted wiring.

Configure Cisco 3524 Switches and 2650 Routers.  Install power supply on Cisco 7200 router and the 6500 switch.

Active Directory Migration of about 700 computers and Exchange 2000 e-mail accounts (XP, 2000 and NT workstations).

Installed and programmed Shoreline IP phones.

Mounted Cisco Wireless Access points, install Console consolidator, EMUs, Wireless manager and assemble POS Wireless mobile carts.

Client: State Farm Agents offices through-out the Bay Area and near cities, Fairfield and Stockton.

Upgrade software package, updated server software, migrated user’s accounts, replace hard drives, troubleshoot computers, re-image drives, install scanners, printers, all in ones, digital camera and other peripherals, ordered needed parts and package and shipped out return parts using Fedex, Airborne Express and UPS. Gave staff training on new installed peripherals.

Install about 266 Workstations (EMac and PC) into class rooms.  Install particular programs image on workstation for each school.  Troubleshoot installation and configuration

Affordable Housing Solutions, Richmond CA, - Feb 2003

Designed company logo for use on envelopes and letter heads. Designed business card and news letter. Created and printed address labels for about 2000 of their client.

Put together commands network and link network with ships router to get access to the internet.

Conducted training for personnel on better use and practices on how to more efficiently use the computers and programs. Trained personnel on aircraft handling and firefighting practices.
